In summer we have more free time to develop our creativity and give free rein to those whims and desires that during the year we couldn’t even raise. “I want to make a game on the floor for my kids are distracted”, or “I want to take a couple of tapes and go down the street to start experimenting with the tape art” and “I want to make a nice head for my bed that the wall is too empty”…
Well, we’re ready to go! the tape art is for the summer, and as you know, it’s super simple, you just have to propose it. What steps must be followed?
First of all, you must to know what you want to do. You like the cartoon or geometric figures? Do you like visual perspectives games or are you more of simple straight lines? Of colorines or of a rigorous black and white ?.
Second important step is to stockpile colored adhesive tapes. As we want to advise you the best we have asked our friends from Coletivo TAV, what kind of tapes they recommend for those of us who want to break with this and have highlighted the Miarco tapes in their four fluor colors and the washi tapes in their different versions ( yellow and blue). And always a good white to highlight areas, a grey for the undecided and black for the profiles and mark lines.
Third, it depends on what you want, you like to do things on your own and with great concentration and then surprise everyone by teaching your great work, or you can choose a partner to make a nice duo of tape artists or call all the friends to make that great tape art intervention that you’ve always had in your head and that you’re finally going to be able to take out. Courage, tape art is an art… but it is also a very fun game.
And finally, choose a large clean white wall, or why not, any wall also serves you because our essence is pure street art, and of course it also serves the floor or your favorite corner of the house.
All right!, please don’t forget to share it on your social networks, by the hashtag #tapeart so that everyone can enjoy your great work and tagged us @TapeArtSociety … so we can share it.
Let’s go, this summer you’re going to be an artist tape!
