Rafael Doria is a graphic artist who for the last few months has started working with tape art and with very own style and results. He’s Brazilian and lives in Rio de Janeiro. We already announced that Brazil is the new hotbed of tape artists.
Rafael is inspired for his works in Brazilian urban popular culture.
Doria believes that “the adhesive tape is a cheap material that I can use quickly in scenery or urban art and I also have the impact that I want”.
He recognizes that he is beginning to experience the possibilities and the universe of tape art and is surprised by the great diversity that this type of art has. That is, as happens to the vast majority of those who tried the tape for the first time … is totally hooked. So much that he dreams of making an international installation in order to show better the Brazilian culture.
Rafael Doria we wish you the best and we know that, with the good start you have had, we’ll see each other again here.
Congratulations and as we always say … long life to the tape!
